Ingredients :

Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon

Method :
- Blend all ingredients to make a paste or masala in a food processor using 3-4 tablespoons of water
- Heat oil in a pan, and the masala to it. Cook the masala till it turns dark brown and simmer it until it gets rid off it's raw taste.
- Now add the canned chick peas, and mix it well with the above mixture
- Add 1/2 cup of water to the pan. Cover and cook for 10 minutes
- Garnish it with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with fried rice, phulka (chapati), puri or bhatura.
